Students outside of Guatemala and enrolled in CHI may receive proof of study (See Assessment System). However, this does not automatically cause the students’ studies to have legal backing in their home countries. Families must contact knowledgeable people in their own country to receive information on how to obtain government approval there.

To find a contact in your country, visit www.hslda.org. On this page, click “International,” and then click on your country’s flag. On the country’s page, you will find contact information that you may use to ask about using the proof of study to obtain government approval of the course of study.

Note: Home School Legal Defense Association, is a U.S.-based organization that supports and defends home education domestically and internationally.
